Sloane Square Vintage Second Life Fashion Pop-Up 15/04/23

This Saturday (15th April) the church will host a pop shop up by "We Are Second Life Fashion" from 11am to 4pm. The group has been running similar events across the county in Churches, Cathedrals, shopping centres and town halls including Chelsea town hall.

To help control capacity you can BUY TICKETS (£1.50 to £2.50) to enter online or on the door if there is space. All tickets are refundable when you checkout at the event on any purchase amount.

The Lady Chapel will be available for those wishing to come in and pray.

What will I find?

A great atmosphere and thousands of pre-loved, quality designer vintage garments for you to give a second life to.

Sportswear, dresses, t-shirts, denim, streetwear, coats, jackets and much more in sizes XS to plus size.

Price start from around £4 per garment.

Who are we?

How does it work? You can buy as much or as little as you like!

A t-shirt typically costs around £4.

We weigh your purchases and that determines the cost , based on £25 a kilo ( but you do not need to buy a whole kilo )

It’s roughly £6-8 for denim, £6 for a dress and £4 for a t-shirt.

Do I need to book an early slot to find the best clothes?

Not at all! We are always refilling the rails throughout the day so it doesn’t matter if you are an early bird vintage lover or want to join us in the last hour, there will be plenty of incredible one-time pieces for you to discover.

Can I buy tickets at the door?

Tickets at the door are available whenever we have empty spots, but we highly recommend pre-booking to guarantee your entry.

Due to Annual leave there will be no 6:30pm Mass on Wednesday 31st May. Church may also open later on this day dues to the train strikes.

Church will be closed on Friday 2nd of June.

This Sunday (4th of June) is Trinity Sunday so it will be our patronal festival as such there will be no 11am Eucharist but there will be a 6pm Patronal Evensong which will be a great celebration of the Trinity and we would love to see you all there.

Come and join Sloane Square Choral Society!

Directed by Oliver Lallemant, SSCS is looking for even more members to be a part of our wonderfully fun and engaging choir. Our Summer Concert 2023 is on Sunday 2 July at 6pm, with rehearsals starting on Monday 24 April at 7pm here in Holy Trinity. This term's music is Vaughan Williams Five Mystical Songs and Brahms Song of Destiny. There's no audition; we welcome everyone. Songs and Soup is Back!

SONGS AND SOUP, IS BACK! TUESDAYS AT 1PM: Following our Easter break Songs and Soup returns on the 18th of April, this informal community choir meets weekly for 45 minutes in the Parish Room. It is open to people of all ages and abilities - retired people, those with memory difficulty and their carers; people on their lunch hours are equally welcome. We sing favourite songs - Songs from the Shows, folk and pop songs, and favourite hymns and get better at singing. In one session, you might sing When I'm 64, Food glorious food, Flanders and Swan, Swing Low and We three kings! After the singing there is a free bowl of soup. There is no charge and certainly no audition!
