Remembrance Sunday

Holy Trinity Church hosts the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea's Civic Act of Remembrance on Remembrance Sunday every two years.

The day’s events begin at the War Memorial in Sloane Square with the keeping of the two minutes silence at 11am and wreaths are laid by the Mayor of Kensington and Chelsea and other dignitaries. Prayers are led by the Rector of Holy Trinity.

Following the Act of Remembrance, a Service of Remembrance takes place in Holy Trinity Church attended by more than 800 people.

On alternate years, the Civic Service takes place at St. Mary Abbots, Kensington and Holy Trinity welcomes the Deputy Mayor of Kensington and Chelsea.
